The location is in the heart of Amsterdam’s Canal Zone, close to the Nine Streets and Jordaan neighborhood with lots of trendy boutiques, cafes, and galleries nearby. The Andaz is perfectly located within walking distance to several of Amsterdam’s top attractions, including the Ann Frank House and the Rijksmuseum.

THE ARTISTIC INTERIORS
The creative and playful interiors are the work of Dutch designer Marcel Wanders, who was inspired by Alice in Wonderland and Amsterdam’s culture. Oversize chandeliers and red tulip chairs greet you in the lobby and the whimsical details will surprise around every corner. I especially loved the Delft Blue details, fantastic wallpaper, and Secret Garden.

SPACIOUS ROOMS WITH A VIEW
The guest rooms are spacious, stylish, and filled with natural light from the floor to ceiling windows. The fabulous design continues in the rooms with the brightly colored chairs, hand-painted sinks, and quirky art on the walls. I loved my Canal View Room overlooking the iconic Prinsengracht canal.

CREATIVE FARM TO TABLE MENUS
The dining is just as creative as the hotel’s design. The Bar’s handcrafted cocktails are inspired by local ingredients and served by the best bartenders! At Bluespoon Restaurant with it’s fantastic lighting and lively open kitchen, we enjoyed delicious farm to table small plates.

CURATED LOCAL EXPERIENCES
Arrive as a visitor and leave as a local with these not-to-be-missed experiences arranged by the Andaz: a walking tour of Amsterdam, a tour of the fabulous Moco Museum with a private guide, a scenic tour of Amsterdam from the water on a canal boat tour, and dinner at RIJKS. I loved all of these!
