Four Seasons Napa Valley Review

I was invited to attend a special two-day grand opening event in November that was set up to showcase this gorgeous new resort to a group that included 17 General Managers from Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts around the world, senior members of the Four Seasons executive, sales, and marketing teams, and a select group of Four Seasons Preferred Partners. I was truly honored to be included. The event was an incredibly special opportunity to both experience all areas of the resort and to spend time and build relationships with such an amazing group of colleagues and partners.

Here are some of the things I loved the most:

  • The resort sits in a perfect location directly on the famous Silverado Trail in the historic and charming town of Calistoga. The grounds are gorgeous and the vineyard and mountain views from all around the property are stunning.

  • Spa Talisa is a sanctuary with fantastic treatment rooms, outdoor relaxation and misting decks, and a sunken whirlpool. Don’t miss the Calistoga mud and sun experience, one of the signature treatments where mineral-rich mud is massaged onto your skin followed by a soak in an outdoor sun bay to let the earth draw toxins from your body.

  • The rooms and suites are modern and gorgeous (think farmhouse chic), each with its own fireplace, private bar and wine refrigerator, wet-room style bathroom with deep soaking tub, and furnished terrace with vineyard and mountain views. For larger families or groups of friends traveling together, the three-bedroom 3,395 sq ft. Estate Villa is really stunning with extra privacy, a full kitchen, incredible indoor-outdoor living, and a beautiful and expansive private swimming pool.

  • The Adult Pool is large with lap swimming lanes and a large hot soaking tub. The Resort Pool is zero-entry and the perfect spot for kids and families to swim and relax. Both pools are heated and warm. Don’t miss the bocce ball court or the complimentary cruiser bikes for a ride around the property or into Calistoga.

  • Breakfast and dinners at Truss are fantastic with beautiful views out over the resort. I loved the fresh Cal-Mexican menu and excellent lunches at Campo which sits just between the Adult and Resort Pools.

  • Four Seasons Napa is the only resort in the Valley that is set within a working winery, and every guest room is just steps away from the amazing estate vineyard vines. No other wine country resort integrates the grape-to-glass experience so thoroughly into your stay. Don’t miss a guided tasting session at Elusa.

Last but not least, the Santa Rosa regional airport is an easy 30 minutes away, making it super convenient for guests flying in from out of the area. For local northern California residents, the resort is going to be very popular for long weekend getaways.
