Kristen Nix Travel is a Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection preferred partner, providing all clients with additional complimentary value, and booking assistance to guarantee the best possible cruise experience. On certain cruises, Kristen Nix Travel clients will receive a private welcome reception, dedicated onboard host, and their choice of an exclusive cooking class and chefs tasting, complimentary shore excursion, additional shipboard credit, or a private car and driver.
ABOUT THE RITZ-CARLTON YACHT COLLECTION
The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection, designed to combine the luxury lifestyle of The Ritz-Carlton® and the casual freedom of a yachting vacation, will feature personalized service, elevated dining and luxury amenities. The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection will offer bespoke voyages on the first of three custom-built yachts starting in 2020.
Most voyages range from seven to ten nights, offering many overnight calls and uniquely curated experiences ashore. Each yacht will feature only 149 suites, each with its own private terrace, and accommodate a maximum of 298 guests in a relaxed, casually elegant atmosphere.

What is the best way to book a Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection cruise?

What does the cruise fare include?
Your cruise fare includes suite accommodations, a dedicated Personal Concierge in all suite categories, onboard gratuities for all restaurant, bar and housekeeping services, multiple dining venues, 24-hour in-suite dining, beverages such as beer, select spirits and wines, soft drinks, coffee, tea and bottled water in-suite and throughout the yacht, onboard entertainment and enrichment, use of the marina-style platform with access to watersports, and Wi-Fi.
What does the cruise fare not include?
Your cruise fare does not include airfare, hotel accommodations, transfers, luggage handling, shore excursions, meals ashore, specialty dining at our Specialty Dining Experience, salon services, spa treatments, upgraded Wi-Fi, or personal purchases from the boutique. Gratuities are not included for salon services or spa treatments. Select specialty champagnes, wine, spirits, and caviar are also not included in the cruise fare. If you wish to bring a quantity of your own wine onboard, a $20 corkage fee per bottle will apply when poured in the dining venues.
What is the fare for third and fourth guests?
Third and fourth guest occupancy is available on a limited basis at a rate of 50% of the first and second berth. Third and fourth guests must be under the age of 14 years old. A limited number of roll-a-ways are available upon request.
I am a Bonvoy Elite. Can I use points to book a Ritz-Carlton Yacht cruise?
Not at this time, however, they are working on this as an option for future voyages.
Will I earn Marriott Bonvoy qualifying nights on a Ritz-Carlton Yacht cruise?
TBD.
Are children allowed on The Ritz-Carlton Yacht?
The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection welcomes children age 6 months or older. Fare for infants 6 months to two years of age is 25% of the first and second berth, when reserved as the third berth in the suite. Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian over the age of 21 years old. On voyages with three or more consecutive days at sea, the minimum age for children is one year of age. Children under the age of 5 years are not permitted on Zodiacs. Babysitting services are not available onboard. A limited number of cribs are available onboard on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Does the Yacht have a Ritz-Kids program on board?
Families exploring the world together are welcome aboard The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection. With its own dedicated space on board, Ritz-Kids® is an educational and fun-filled program that encourages children ages 4 to 12 to explore the world around them. Enhanced programming will be available during holidays and summer months.
How long are the Ritz-Carlton Yacht voyages?
Between 4 - 11 nights.
Do the suites include outdoor space?
Yes, every suite includes a private terrace.
Are all restaurants onboard complimentary?
S.E.A. restaurant, a 3 Michelin star specialty dining experience that will accomodate 28 guests, will include an extra charge. All other dining venues, are complimentary.
Do any of the suites have 2 bathrooms?
Yes, the Loft Suites and the Owner’s suites all have 2 bathrooms.
Can I get a group booking discount?
Yes. Group bookings start at 12 suites. You can arrange your own group of friends or family, or reach out to Kristen Nix Travel to see if you can join one of the groups that we will be arranging.
How many Ritz-Carlton Yachts are there?
The first ship will sail on February 5, 2020. The second Yacht will launch around mid-2021, and the third Yacht will sail the following year.
Can I book in other currencies?
Yes, clients can book in USD, Euros, and GBP.
Can I travel as single occupant?
Yes, however, the supplement is currently 200%. There aren’t any single promotions at this time.
What is the expected demographic on The Ritz-Carlton Yacht?
Affluent, mid 40’s to mid 50’s. More than half of the current bookings are “new to cruise”.
How much does it cost for WiFi?
WiFi is complimentary.
Can I combine voyages back to back?
Yes. Back to back voyages will receive a 5% discount. Itineraries are set up so that back to back voyages will not repeat any ports.
Is smoking permitted?
Smoking onboard is only permitted in The Humidor on Deck 10.
Are the yachts available for private charter?
Yes
I am interested, when should I book my cruise?
As soon as possible. With only 149 suites on 1 Yacht, inventory is selling out quickly.
What is the deposit and cancellation policy?
If a cancellation request is received 121 days prior to the voyage departure date, and a deposit is already paid on the reservation, you will receive a full refund less an administrative fee of $250 per person. While this administrative fee is non-refundable, you may transfer this fee to a new reservation made within one year of the cancelled reservation.
Cancellation requests received within 120 days of the voyage departure date will be subject to the following cancellation fees:
- 120 to 91 days prior to the voyage departure date: 25% cancellation fee
- 90 to 61 days prior to the voyage departure date: 50% cancellation fee
- 60 to 31 days prior to the voyage departure date: 75% cancellation fee
- 30 days or less prior to the voyage departure date: 100% cancellation fee
