Ritz-Carlton San Francisco
The Ritz-Carlton is timeless, elegant, and classy. Here are five things we loved about this San Francisco beauty.
THE CLUB LOUNGE
The Club Lounge at the Ritz is exceptional! There are four complimentary food and beverage presentations throughout the day, including breakfast, a light lunch, hors d'oeuvres and cocktails, and dessert and cordials. The food was amazing and there were plenty of gluten free options at every presentation. The evening hors d'oeuvres are inspired by San Francisco's neighborhoods and, on Saturdays, there is a special caviar presentation paired with a limited edition sparkling wine from the JCB by Jean-Charles Boisset Collection. The Club Lounge exceeded my expectations in every way.
THE HOLIDAY DECOR
The charming Ritz-Carlton shines bright always, and especially at the holidays. It smells amazing when you enter - just like Christmas - and there's hot apple cider in the lobby. I loved it all - from the Christmas trees inside and out, to the grand gingerbread house on the Club Level. This is where I want to be when visiting San Francisco during the holidays.
THE LOCATION
I love the Nob Hill location of the Ritz. It's on a steep section of Stockton Street, and feels residential and very classic San Francisco, in terms of location. Walk three blocks down the hill and you will find yourself among the fabulous shopping of Union Square.
THE INTERIORS
The Ritz-Carlton is an iconic landmark, built in 1909. The interiors are modern yet classic, elegant but comfortable. The guest rooms were renovated recently and I absolutely LOVED the navy and gray color palette, so unique and classy.
THE FITNESS CENTER
Sometimes workout spaces in hotels are small and can feel like an afterthought. Not the case with the Ritz-Carlton. Fitness junkies will enjoy the expansive workout rooms and great equipment. I also appreciated the attention to details - thoughtful and inspiring photography on the walls, healthy snacks, and cold towels.
