Andaz Scottsdale Review

With a super hip vibe, great pool and restaurant scenes, and a beautiful back-drop of Camelback Mountain, the Andaz Scottsdale makes the perfect spot for a weekend getaway for couples and friends. Here are five things we loved the most:

THE HIP VIBE
Andaz Scottsdale is modern, creative, and casual. The staff is incredibly welcoming and friendly, and we loved the complimentary glass of wine during the sit-down check-in process. The chauffeured house car, a very cool Tesla, will drop guests off at Old Town Scottsdale or North Scottsdale.

THE MODERN DESIGN
We are huge fans of great design, and the mid-century feel did not disappoint. The one-story Sonoran-style bungalows and modern public spaces have clean lines, uncluttered spaces, and a strong sense of place.

THE LOCAL ART
I loved all the colorful local art around the resort. The Andaz collaborates with the Cattle Track Arts Compound - a local artists' community about a mile down the road whose work adds heart and soul to the property. Artists in residence visit the Andaz regularly, putting on workshops and sharing their stories with guests.

THE POOL SCENE
The Turquoise Pool is the center of the resort and has a fun and laid back vibe. The Turquoise Pool Bar has a great menu, with plenty of healthy, delicious, and gluten free options. If you want a more serene adults-only pool experience, head over to the Palo Verde Spa pool. The views of Camelback Mountain and chill vibe here will soothe your soul.

THE FITNESS CENTER and SPA
The views of Camelback Mountain are spectacular from the fitness center, and the garage-door-style wall of windows open to create a seamless indoor-outdoor feel. Working out in this space felt motivating and inspiring! At the Palo Verde Spa, an apothecary consultant will work with you to create a special botanical blend for your spa treatment that's as unique as you are.
