Ham Yard Hotel
Ham Yard Hotel Review
In the midst of vibrant Soho and moments from Mayfair, Ham Yard Hotel is a fantastic high energy hotel in an ideal location that puts guests within easy walking distance to Trafalgar, Piccadilly, Covent Garden, Regent and Bond Streets, etc. Here are six things we loved the most:
The creative and playful interiors are designed by Kit Kemp in her award-winning modern British style. All of the public spaces and rooms are gorgeous, and I really loved the incredible attention to detail and mix of color, pattern, and texture.
The brilliant and colorful collection of interesting artwork and installations, including the Human Clock sculpture in the lobby that is made up of 135 dishes that spin around into different patterns before lining up to display the time every minute.
The Croc Bowling Alley, located in the lower level of the hotel, provides guests with access to an original 1950’s Brunswick bowling alley, stylish lounge, and includes food and beverage service. The space is so artistic and the bowling alley is such a fun amenity! If you have a few minutes, check out this video of Kit Kemp to see it for yourself.
We enjoyed excellent dining experiences across breakfast, dinner, and cocktails at the Ham Yard Bar & Restaurant. The artwork is colorful and eclectic, and the vibe is buzzy and intimate.
There are two super comfortable lounges, both of which include the signature Firmdale “Honesty Bar”. We love making our own cocktails and relaxing in the lounges before and after dinner.
The fabulous Roof Terrace on the fourth floor includes a bar, a garden, and sweeping views of the London skyline.
