Four Seasons Hualalai Review
Four Seasons Hualalai is my #1 most frequently booked property worldwide, and it is also one of our favorite resorts on the planet! As soon as we check out, we are immediately trying to figure out when we can return again. Here are some of the reasons why we love it:
The resort is sprawling, oceanfront, level, tropical, and immaculately maintained. We love how there are a lot of different spaces to explore and enjoy.
The pools are gorgeous. Palm Grove is a great adults-only hideout. Sea Shell is awesome for families with a large free form pool, plus a separate zero-entry sandy bottom pool that is perfect for toddlers. Beach Tree is iconic, gorgeous, and surrounded by complimentary cabanas. The new infinity-edge pool that sits in the lava rock just above King’s Pond is absolutely stunning. The lap pool at the Sports Club is ideal for lane swimming. Our favorites are King’s Pond & Beach Tree.
Rooms and suites have been renovated with new furniture, artwork, cabinetry, headboards, televisions, etc, and the lanais have comfortable outdoor living spaces. We loved our room on the second floor overlooking King’s Pond. We have stayed on both the ground floor and on the second floor previously… Our favorite is the second floor for the better views and additional privacy.
Brand new Bungalow Zero. Our friends were staying in this 2 bedroom suite while we were at the resort, and it is gorgeous. Awesome ocean-front views from the top floor 2 bedroom suite, and a beautiful plunge pool with integrated hot tub on the lanai of the ground floor two-bedroom suite. This is located steps from the ocean and King’s Pond, and it is very private.
Fantastic activities… The golf course has been renovated and is in perfect condition, we loved snorkeling from the resort's outrigger canoe and also in King’s Pond, the tennis facility is fantastic, and a lot more.
‘Ulu and the Resident’s Beach House are as oceanfront as oceanfront gets and both are excellent. Beach Tree is also very close to the ocean and is great for lunch, sunset cocktails, dinner, and live music. We ate every single meal on property and service and quality was consistently excellent.
The path that winds from King’s Pond all the way down along the golf course to the Ocean Activity Center Kukio Bay is our favorite for daily walks with beautiful views of the ocean, resort, golf course, incredible private homes, and sea turtles resting on the shore along the way.
Hualalai Trading Company is an awesome market and we always seem to stop there once per day to grab everything from ice cream and snacks, to beers and bottles of wine for our lanai.
We absolutely love Four Seasons Hualalai and we can not wait to return again.
